Rating and Certification
GBCUG provides Rate and Certification tools and schemes to ensure the quality and performance of sustainable buildings. We provide key measures for governments (national and sub-national) to adopt, helping them set priorities in their own strategies, based on their situation. GBCUG offers access to a network of specialists to rate and validate the sustainability of green buildings, development projects at design stage and as built. We rate the sustainability of buildings, retrofits and communities through holistic voluntary validation and certification framework systems for sustainable built environment adapted to meet Uganda’s unique local context standards to deliver projects to a high performing and sustainable standard, support commercial success and create positive environmental and social impact.
